印月餐廳（南屯公益路） — Restaurant in Taichung

First of all, the restaurant environment is nice and quite clean. Parking is easily accessible since they have their own parking lot at the back of the restaurant.

As for the food, it has always been said that people eat with their eyes first. They definitely have that on point as each dish comes out looking like an art piece. The disappointing part was that most of the dishes didn’t taste as authentic as it looked. The foods that were enjoyable would be the Peking Duck (pre-reserve) which is a bit more unique than traditional Peking Duck since they present more side dishes to go along with it. The truffle shrimp ball was also another dish that was flavorful. The roasted chicken that was displayed in a bird cage was too dry and lacked the crunch on the skin. The mouth watering chicken (appetizer/starter) was lacking flavor and spiciness. Overall the taste of the food were very subpar for what was being paid.

The service was good as they focused on giving you a clean plate quite often but lacked making sure that everyone at the table had their teacups filled.

The set up is good overall, but the service can ruin everything. For the desert, we, 9 people altogether, asked for clean plates so we can enjoy what we have . Guess what, a tall serviceman came over and told us that we do not need plates for it. We should simply put it in our mouth in one rice using the chopsticks. Can you imagine? At the end, one service lady saved the day, provided us the clean plates. But, why??? Spend your hard earned dollars on this...
