FengLe Sculpture Park — Attraction in Taichung

Lovely park with pond, fish, ducks and a waterfall with walkway, bridge crossing over it and the fountain was turned on whilst we were there. Good toilet amenities at both end of the park. Lots of different sculptures throughout the park and some shaded areas where you can stop and sit. We took a picnic so sat under the trees overlooking the pond on the stone table and chairs. The children’s play area at one side was busy as it was shaded; the normal play structure with a couple of slides; exercise equipment but not much else. At the other end of the park is the sand pit play area. This was in direct sun so we didn’t spend too long there. Also one of the ‘saucer’ type swings is all metal, so not the best design for a hot country and in direct sunlight! There’s toilets here and a place to wash feet, so added bonus. It’s a great park, it’s big, it has playgrounds, monkey bars, swings, etc. Highly recommend it to come with your family or bring a pet, solo is fine as well of course. It is well-maintained. The trees are cut regularly, only issue is that the bridge near the lake smells really off so I tend to keep my distance away from there, I’ve seen people feed the fishes and swans inside...
