Taichung City Seaport Art Center — Attraction in Taichung

I visited this place February 2018. It had free admission and featured several different exebitions. The area is very clean and there is supervising security. Exebitions may vary, but I saw painting from local artists, caligraphy from recent times but also somewhat older. The rooms were nicely presented and volenteers were helpfull in sharing information. Upstairs is a small cafe which serves beverages and small snacks. There is also a shop next to the cafe. Outside area is very scenic. Quaint exhibition centre with rotating exhibits. The entrance to the exhibition area looks like a small, unassuming building from the front but there is actually a tunnel leading to a large indoor space, I was confused at first glance! Staff is very friendly, had a lovely chat with one of the exhibition guides when we asked where to find a specific artwork we saw on one of the previous reviews.

不是第一次來此，這次感覺特別差，傘套因風大的關係，掉進魚池裡面，之後到服務台尋求幫助，服務台女服務員講了一大推開始推，說去找警衛處理他們沒辦法處理這件事，態度不友善，且同時看到一推人都在滑手機而且是全部的人，平常沒事到有人經過都沒發現，之後發現有人經過時作賊心虛的趕快把手機收起來。在此請各位長官平常可以派點公務給這個單位的人員處理，領人民的納稅的錢上班都是在滑手機的嗎? 不只看到一次了，後續如有民眾經過拍照上傳，恐怕會讓民眾觀感不佳，有損公務人員形象，本人於以譴責在此肯請慎重看待此事。

之後去找警衛尋求幫助，警衛一開始答應了，之後看到孩子在旁騎車，警衛態度極差兇身邊的孩子:他不能在這邊騎車，車子放裡面不然放在旁邊。因為聲音極大態度極差，導致孩子身心懼怕，臉色變得很難看。此時警衛用揶揄的的口氣說，你看他這個臉是甚麼意思，講完之後小孩情緒受到影響開始大哭起來。警衛眼看情況不妙之後才說:好啦好啦，不然給他騎好了。你是看到他哭才給他騎，沒哭不能騎的意思嗎? 所以這個地方到底能不能騎?

本人之後看網站上了園區注意事項:"進入園區參觀民眾須聽從保全人員之引導，如有推銷、炊煮、煙火施放、風箏、遙控機具、直排輪（含兒童腳踏車）及兩人以上互助之運動等，或恐有影響民眾參觀安全之行為，將規勸禁止。"意思就是本人只要沒有影響到其他民眾參觀及安全行為的話就是可以騎車，有說錯嗎? 在平日那個時間點本來人就不多，且小孩在活動時本人也在旁照看，也不會有影響到其他人參觀活動情況發生。本人在此請問警衛當下態度極差禁止孩子不能騎車是甚麼意思? 然後把孩子搞哭了才又回覆說可以騎了又是甚麼意思? 黑的白的你都要，搞得本人及孩子無所適從，當下還要安撫孩子情緒，這位警衛您這樣做對嗎? 您的態度是否有問題? 自己是否要好好檢討? 本人沒有歧視警衛這個職業，講話也很尊重您，但請您對您的職業負責，拿出可以對得起你的這個職業該有的態度來服務民眾，請把咄咄逼人的態度收起來，否則恐怕會影響一般民眾參觀的意願。對一個孩子是在兇甚麼?...
