Tainan Mosque — Attraction in Tainan

Disappointed and disheartened. My heart feels heavy writing a negative review

Came here twice on weekend during the regular prayer time and found the mosque to be closed. No signs outside with any relevant information whatsoever. There is no answer on the phone as well.

In my experience, mosques in other major Taiwanese cities typically remain open until asha'a prayers are over. But this is the first time I'd encountered such a situation.

If the mosque is open only during particular time intervals, I believe it is necessary to let it be known. Mentioning it is open 24 hours is near misleading.

Small mosque but clean. Come here for Friday Pray (Shalat Jumat) that adzan start at 13.00 local time. Second floor for wudhu and third floor for pray. Not big enough 7x6 meter. Available small part for women that want to join with pray. Easy to find just go to 77 xiang 3 duan zhong hua dong lu. You will arrive around this mosque and find for mosque sign. Not sure this mosque is permanently closed or not. My friend said that the mosque only open at friday for jumah prayer, but when i come to mosque, doors all open but no one inside it.
