Safety issue / High risk of injury/ Detached staff
Good part: my SA is nice.
Bad: 2 months into the membership I got injured caused by overcrowding of students. 2 barres had to be shared among 4 students.
The student beside me hit me with hand weights. Wrist bruised immediately and swollen for 10 days.
Feedback to reception right after but they are incurious, and detached. When ask for feedback email they said I should find on website myself.
I understand receptionist may not be able to handle this, but it just makes me feel worse after a bad injury.
No one even ask if I need to go to clinic or was I OK.
I wrote an email to them one week ago to reflect this, but no one have reply to my emails for 10 days.
2 weeks Update: I called and told the receptionist that no one replied nor call and kindly ask her to follow up for me and I can talk until 7pm as I hv a class at 7pm. Or else Tuesday Wednesday would work. I then receive another person’s cal at 6:57 so I politely said it is not a good time for me. However her attitude was quite rude and said something like they have a procedure as well. Not sure what that means, but the feeling I perceive is just getting worse than ever. And needless to say no one calls me back anymore in the next two days.
Sadly I have another 10 months contract with this company who wouldn’t reply to my email nor call me back regarding injury in class.
1 month update: No one took the time to reply at all after 2 emails. They did call me back but I prefer email that’s the basic etiquette to reply to the original...
Read moreI had a trial lesson 2 weeks ago. I just want to say some of the reasons I chose not to sign up.
I asked for a flow lesson, but the teacher taught Hatha instead. Afterwards I asked why and they said, because they weren’t meant to teach that class.
I like Hatha, but I need to warm my body up before doing that sort of class, which is why I asked for flow (dynamic stretches prepares the body for exercise).
More importantly though while I was in warrior pose, the teacher grabbed my hand and pulled it. I was already at my max capacity, and they pulled my muscle. 2 1/2 weeks later I am still in pain and having trouble walking.
Maybe if I had known the class was going to be different to what was advertised or given the class I wanted, this may have been avoided.
This gym used to have a good reputation, but have since fired all their Indian teachers, who provided their best lessons.
I believe the service you are giving is unsafe, and it needs...
Read moreTheir business practice is not customer friendly. The classes themselves are fine, not great either. Nothing soulful or reflective except for a couple of great teachers. The meditation is usually skimmed over. Perhaps it’s a cultural difference.
But to charge $500 a month for pausing membership during high rise of COVID cases is pretty gnarly even for me being used to business swindles in America. I really wouldn’t recommend this place. Just have to stick my head thru paying another $10000 NT for virtual classes in order to finish my contract.
Gives yoga a bad name for me. I get that a business needs to survive during these times but to learn that a long term business sustains by serving it’s customers, try to remember customer loyalty is reciprocated, not by fining and nickel/dimed.
And being called out on buying fake reviews…yikes. Hope management takes these...
