My go to hiking spot in Taipei beside the elephant mountain. The place isn’t very crowded. You can walk to and from Fuzhoushan which isn’t very far from this peak. You can also access this peak by walking along side the road before entering the tunnel, the entrance will be on your left. Overall atmosphere is good. It's my favorite trail and very convenient, but you have to be careful because, after rain, the trail becomes slippery. Usually, I start from Fuzhoushan, and finish at Heping Rd. It takes around 3 km. For the foreigner who cannot understand mandarin, I suggest reading the sign carefully because some path...

意外刺激攀爬與101絕佳展望 中埔山東峰（海拔約137公尺，山頂有一顆台北市79號三角點），本山為南港山系往西延伸的小山頭，與福州山、中埔山及富陽公園等周邊山系共同形成台北南區的綠帶。(中埔山雙峰並列，主峰與東峰高度相近，且距離近)，亦為台北大縱走第六段的尾段。根據文獻紀載，這段山系是淡蘭古道的重要支線。 行走過程中搭配離線地圖，選擇直上的刺激攀岩路線。過程需手腳並用，共有三段拉繩攀爬，充滿挑戰及一定危險性，建議山友考量自身情況再嘗試。山頂的展望極佳，能輕鬆將台北101等市區地標盡收眼底，天氣好時能遠眺大屯山區與觀音山。 以山頂景致及步道完善程度，加上難度不高，老人小孩都能輕鬆攀登，惟若要挑戰攀岩路線，務必謹慎評估自身能力！
