We walked from maokong station through the trail. It's a 1 hour walk but worth it. Along the trail there are lots of intagram worthy scenery...😊

The temple is at a great place to take photo of the city.

The temple offer place for tea drinking. Both free tea, or hot water and u can sit with your group of friends to enjoy the nice chat and scenery and nice breeze with your nice cup of tea.

Of cause, the temple is very well...

Don't come during off peak hour, or raining/cloudy weather. Can't enjoy the scenery at all. The distance of one scenic spot to another is very far apart, (don't recommend walking unless you are into hiking ), they have shuttle bus ($15)per whole trip. (you can take another type of shuttle bus back to MRT station as well (cheaper, alternative to Gandola). However the drivers I met so far all have bad attitude and not...

It's an interesting Buddhist temple, on the Taipei Grand Trail, close to Maokong gondola and the Camphor tree trail. It proposes a very good view of Taipei and there are toilets and water. The hall is also worth a look for the statues, especially the most revered Buddhist deity, Guanyin. It's peaceful as white elephant, blue tiger and thousand arms Guanyin can be inspirational.

The hike from the gondola station was easy and provided great views of the plantations and Taipei far below. The temple offers chairs and free tea to rest on a little terrace and there are public restrooms and garbage bins as well. Totally worth it.
