Meijia Tea Garden is slightly off the main tourist path in Maokong, which makes it feel more peaceful and authentic. Specializing in Oolong tea, the garden offers not just great tea but also a homely restaurant atmosphere where you can slow down and really enjoy your meal.

The setting is charming, surrounded by greenery and with a quiet, relaxed vibe that feels worlds away from the city. It’s the kind of place where you can sip tea while overlooking the hills, taking in the slower pace of Maokong.

We ordered fried mushrooms, boar meat, and their tea omelette, the highlight of the meal. The tea omelette is a must-have, with a delicate flavor that really stands out. The boar meat was hearty and flavorful, and the mushrooms were crispy and delicious. All the dishes paired beautifully with their Oolong tea, making for a memorable meal.

If you’re visiting Maokong and want something a little more off the beaten path, Meijia Tea Garden is a wonderful spot to experience both local flavors and the area’s tranquil...

I have been here a few time and this is the BEST.

The place and the view was superb. One of the side we could see the city view and the other side we could see the cable car. The service was excellent. They got English menu.

They serve local dishes with tea leaves as one of the ingredients. The taste was quite light not salty not sugary. Overall was good. The tea making set was huge.

The entrance was a bit difficult to notice. That's was probably why there were not many people. If we didn't hear the music, we would have thought that it was closed.

If you dont like the crowded place. I would highly recommend this...

Thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing time here! We intended to have a more immersive experience but that required advance booking. We ordered a self-serve premium tieguanyin tea along with some small eats. We leisurely brewed the tea, drank and ate while taking in the views. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. She gave us more information on what might be if interest to us even though she can't offer a particular experience at this location. Very customer...
