Ismaili Centre is a state of art establishment in Dushanbe. They have given emphasis on minor details in making it, be it architecture, infrastructure or culture. It's build in Persian style by using 3 million bricks being brought from Samarkhand. It's an inspiring place for designers and architects but also its an educational center with several language, science and arts courses being provided to the community kids. It uses many motifs and concepts in its design like kurfi Arabic script, pamiri, tajik, uzbek and Persian designs and also things taken from zorastrianism. Исмаилитский центр в Душанбе находится напротив зала Навруз. Провести экскурсию в этом центре нам договорился знакомый, проживающий в Душанбе. Хотелось посмотреть духовный дом другой религии. Внешне он не похож на сооружение, где могут проходить молитвы. При входе в Центр контроль всех сумок на наличие запрещенных предметов. Дальше все сумки можно сдать в камеру хранения и уже спокойно осматривать здание. Внутри здание украшено мозаикой и традиционной плиткой азиатских народов. Кругом много света, потолки высокие. В центре люди могут находиться в течение всего дня. Там учат детей, есть библиотека. Внутри здания есть дворик с множеством скамеечек, куда можно выйти и пообщаться. Полы выполнены из дерева трех видов. Единственное узнаваемое место в этом центре, это зал ля молитв. Отличительной чертой является отсутствие яркого освещения и мягкий ковер под ногами. Зал большой, может вместить до 1000 человек. При входе автоматически переходишь на шепот. Вокруг здания бассейны и фонтаны. Для нас, христиан, конечно все необычно, но посетить стоит.
