Masjid Maamur مسجد — Attraction in Dar es-Salaam

Masjid Maamur is a grand mosque in terms of comfort and splendor. It is a stwo storied building with a modern interior design.

It has a ladies section, a clean ablition area, toilets and once had a space to park almost 5 cars within it's compound.

Now the compound area has been fitted with tiles for the believers to pray on, especially helpful during Friday jumuah prayers when it gets crowded.

For parking, space is usually available on the street opposite the mosque.

Its a well organized mosque with a section for women which is a plus point!!!! Its well carpeted and fully air conditioned and it's always nicely maintained (hygiene wise). There is ample space inside (on the women's side). The mosque also has funeral services (prices are put on the notice board) they also have morgue services and ambulance services. Clean and spacious women's praying area.that is well-kept. The a/c is in good condition. The praying area is one floor upstairs. There's no elevator. There's an outdoor praying area for those who can't climb the stairs.
