As someone who has never had a massage in Thailand I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Reviews have said the staff aren't happy and sometimes the massages aren't very good.
Well I've found in life that kindness goes a long way. I was polite, friendly and greeting them in their language and tried to connect. The result was an exceptionally good massage. I asked for a foot massage and that's what I was expecting.
What I got was slightly different but very good. They do massage the feet but also the calves, knees, hamstring and quads. It's firm and can be painful. I believe that was because I'm on my feet an extraordinary amount and those areas mentioned were super tight. 45 mins of that work.
To finish off to my surprise they work arms, fingers shoulders and palms. Then ask you to sit on the stool so they can work on neck, shoulders, head, scalp and back.
If this is a standard "foot massage" then this was next level.
For me coming from overseas I found the price to be extremely good. I have read in the reviews that tips are optional and I think they were expecting something. We don't tip in my country but I'm also very mindful of the pay in Thailand so I didn't feel uncomfortably tipping the...
Read moreVeteran massage customer. Been to over 50 different massage places in TH. This place is big and fancy, yes but that's where the higher prices go. The quality of the massage was the same or slightly lower to many ordinary Thai massage places.
Big compliant The AC was on Turbo. It was 8pm and not a particularly hot day, I immediately told the woman it was way too cold. A cold room makes your muscles tighten, not what you want during massage. At the last 5 minutes of my 2 hours the air was turned down. I spent the whole time with a blanket pulled over my head.
The massage woman was adequate. No English. Way to soft and spent too little time on my back and hands. 90% on my legs.
The place looks good and they are super organized. But I'd prefer a dirty little Thai place and amazing massage.
Most people don't realize that massages only usually cost 150B an hour, high considering the average wage is 300B per DAY. The masseuse and shop generally split 50-50.
Don't be afraid to try some weird places, massage by the blind is another good option but recommend that only for people who can handle a...
Read moreI've been to this location many times the last few years. The thai and foot massage is always great but unfortunately some (not all) of the massage ladies has no shame, talk during the whole session which is disturbing and makes it hard to relax, repeatedly complaining about how little money they make and keep begging my husband to give them high tips, all while they give the massage!! We always give tips anyways but I find this very distasteful, uncomfortable and rude to us as paying costumers why I can only give 3 stars. Please talk to your workers about this behavior as this is highly unprofessional to an otherwise great establishment. I hope to see a change regarding this and be able to change this review to 5 stars...
