A negative review that could have easily been avoided.

When a repeat customer asks for the attention of Management & Ownership at EasyKart, and specifically leaves his/her phone number with lower staff for that Management & Ownership to make that call back to them, one would think a common sense minded Manager or Owner that actually cared about their customers, would provide that immediate attention. Right? Let this be the lesson today at EasyKart. When a customer requests a phone call back from Management & Ownership, and specifically mentions in that note, “That a “No” call will result in never returning, make that call to your requesting customers.” It’s a “No Brainer” in simple business etiquette, in providing the higher standards, and in understanding the power of repeat and referral business. Losing customers is not the road to profitability and more success and only leads the customers to the review sites in hopes to keep others from having the same avoidable experiences.

First, is being in a Kart fun. Of course right? A hobby or sport like this brings out the competition in our spirit. Whether you are coming here to compete amongst friends or just coming here to compete against yourselves, ultimately you are competing here against “TIME”. Time is the enemy to overcome. Time is money more importantly, and you won’t pay cheap prices for this experience. A package deal with 3 races and an Easykart T Shirt will run around 1999 baht. Each race being 7 minutes long or approximately 8 to 10 laps depending on drivers experience and times. Do the math reviewers. That’s 21 minutes total for 1999 baht, 30 laps if you are fast, and breaks down even further to 95.24 baht per minute and 66.663 baht per lap. If you are slower in “TIME” then you are obviously paying more per minute and per lap.

Second, and here is the meat with the potatoes. Normally, you are put into groups of anywhere from 3-5 drivers. If you are fortunate to get out in front of the slower, you will have most of the track open to make better times. However, once you come up to lap slower traffic, those times will fall dramatically since those that are slower held you up. Not so fun right? Especially at the prices per lap and per minute. Now, just imagine, that Easykart is busy with many customers, and actually puts you in the max group of 10 racers. The chance to make good times, fast times, are substantially lowered and almost impossible to achieve in large groups like this. Not really having fun now are we? And, paying more for less fun :(

Third, and most unfortunate, is the fact that all Karts are not created equal. What are those Karts in the middle for? Oh, wait, these are the tuned Karts, fresh tire Karts, that are requested by the regular customers that come frequently and favored (The ones with private gloves, helmets, shoes, fire suits, etc.) Not so fair is it? Shouldn’t we all get the chance in the fastest of Karts, and shouldn’t we all who pay big money, and not in the knowledge of the fastest Kart, be given the choice? These Karts are not talked about, offered, and are almost impossible to obtain away from the regulars. I got photos and videos of the regulars that frequently immediately go to the karts in the middle and not guided to the stall of karts in random.

A phone call would have been easier & better right Mr. Manager & Owner? If you like seeing reviews like this, don't change a thing and keep up the good work to lower the standards.Common Sense should have...

The location is a bit difficult to find when we took a taxi in and out. It is located on the 2nd story of a shopping complex. The whole service counter/rest area is on like a elevated level, leaving the whole 2nd floor area for the track etc. the process is you choose the number of races you want to race, pay at counter, register your self on the funky pc terminals, above certain number of courses you get a free tahirt. They would provide you with a membership card and keep track of how many races you have left. Each race is about 8mins, fastest lap is about 28s; so you might get between 7-12laps per race? For the first timers they would give you a ticket with your card and you bring it down to the racing area to prepare. The counter sells you socks for 50bahts. At the racing area, you don a disposable hair cap before wearing a helmet. Shoes are available here too. You bring the ticket you got to the racing counter and wait for your turn to race.

After the race, you have to return to the service counter where they provide you with the results of your race and you can take a rest or ask them for another race ticket.

It is an indoor track, so the track is somewhat made from concrete scree and not tarmac. The karts used are offset, so the driver’s seat is to the left, even though the track has 2 left hairpins. Condition of the karts are above average around the region for tourists (genting, batam), but might be below if compared to competitive kart operators (langkawi)

Suggestions is to wear light sports attire, especially football jerseys and shorts as their seats have sticky residue that are very fond of sticking to cotton...

For a first timer to Easykart and to Bangkok, it was surprisingly easy to find as I had a good walk from Phrom Phong station.

And agreed that the premise is well equipped for F1 drivers wannabes.

If you wish to have a good time getting used to the track, come early. For 1300B, the 2x 8 minutes track time allows you to enjoy close to 20 laps of the track.

The trick to enjoy yourself is not to bunch up with other drivers and allow yourself to have a clear track ahead of you to achieve your best lap time. And as you familiarise yourself with the kart and track, you can then challenge the rest of the bunch of drivers. With the big screen showing your laptime, it was easy to track your progress.

I totally disagree with those who have negative feedbacks of the track and staffs for I truly had a great 16 mins of track time. Adrenaline pumping and aching arms dealing with the understeering kart.

Well done team EasyKart. You can be sure I will be back every time I am back in BKK.

A suggestion for you would be to rent out GoPro attached to the helmets for those who want to keep a record of how they drove. I would have, if you have this service.
