Anonymous Coffee Review
I recently visited Anonymous Coffee and was blown away by the experience. I ordered a hot chocolate, and it was nothing short of perfection. The temperature was just right—not too hot, not too cold. Unlike the typical cocoa blends or sharp flavors you often find in Thailand, this hot chocolate had a rich, chocolaty taste that was smooth and perfectly balanced—not too sweet or overpowering. It was simply delightful.
The cheesecake was equally fantastic, both in flavor and presentation. It was beautifully plated and tasted as good as it looked—a perfect complement to the hot chocolate.
The location can be a little tricky to find at first, but it’s absolutely worth the effort. The café features the latest coffee and espresso machines, which is a treat for coffee enthusiasts. Inside, the ambiance is ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful spot to work or relax, with cozy seating areas and plenty of power outlets for your laptop.
For those who prefer the outdoors, the quiet seating area away from the busy roads is a refreshing change. It’s the perfect setting to enjoy your drink and unwind.
Overall, Anonymous Coffee is a hidden gem that I highly recommend. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick drink or spending hours working in their serene environment, this place will...
Read moreA hidden gem in Bangkok, this coffee shop offers your standard lattes, espressos and cold brew in addition to some avant-garde creations including the
“Sally O’Briens” (a mixture of cold brew coffee, coffee syrup, cream with orange peel to add a citrus after taste) it’s unforgettable.
“Dirty” which comprises a mixture of cream, condensed milk and of course an espresso shot.
The reason I’m leaving a 5-star rating is because both of the above tastes do not comprise of a bitter coffee flavor. The ingredients blend seamlessly into each other with both having more of a creamy texture than an overbearing coffee bitterness. I’ve had a lot of coffee but Anonymous is on another level. I asked them about their coffee machines/brewing techniques and it’s clear a lot of thought has went into the process behind each unique brew.
The beans are mostly imports and I did purchase some of the award winning Ethiopian to take back home with me.
It’s by far the best coffee I’ve had in Thailand, highly...
Read moreA new specialty coffee shop!!! It locates just a few minutes from the downtown area, but you have to drive there since there is no nearby mass transit. Fortunately, there are plenty of parking lots.
The vibes are impressive, with extraordinary decoration. I don't think this cafe is kid-friendly because it is pretty small and contains only a few seats, but you can order their coffee from the nearby WH cafe.
The shop is equipped with great coffee gears. Weber workshop's EG-1 single dose grinder is one of the unique pieces of equipment. They also use a Slayer espresso machine to brew shots for dirty coffee, specifically.
I enjoyed the atmosphere, but I wouldn't say I liked their coffee. The espresso was a bit bitter for me. The latte was also too bitter for my wife. The Dirty coffee, which the barista told it would be less bitter because they used ristretto (a midstream portion of espresso), was pretty bitter, too.
I prefer sweet, round, and acidic espresso, which isn't...
