I was impressed at how u could do a spa booking via the tablet in the room in the hotel for a session the next day at 11am. As I was excited to do the massage earlier as I have a flight to catch and needed to leave the hotel by 1pm, so I decided to head early to the spa the next day morning to see if I can get an earlier slot since the spa opens at 10.30am.
However, when I reached the spa at 10.20am, it was closed, I decided to wait outside. Just then, a walk-in customer came just right before me and I followed suit, but he booked the 10.30am slot instead. And the lady at the front desk said that all bookings are full now and there is no availability till 12.30pm. She said booking can only be confirmed via the phone. I’m like huh? I’m here now isn’t it? Also, there was no indication that I needed to call to confirm the booking. Anyway the time was 10.20am and the spa official opens at 10.30am, so how could I call? And anyway I’m physically here, they should have given me priority instead of the walk-in customer.
What’s funny is the male customer who just booked before me, is only doing his service for an hour so shouldn’t the next available slot be at 1130? But nope, it’s only available at 1230pm. So I seriously don’t know what’s going on, but this is a warning to all guests who use the tablet to book the spa service that all timings are available but does not mean that they are available.
Really horrible experience and it’s a shame as wwe have stayed at the Lancaster twice and the service, cleanliness and facilities are great, except this spa. U can check the attached photo from the tablet that it doesn’t say that u have to call to confirm the slot. Any guest would assume that the slot is confirmed as there’s a cancellation policy....

The 120-minute aromatherapy session was an absolute bliss, thanks to the skilled and polite therapist who showcased remarkable techniques. They also use high-quality essential oils.
The private room, complete with a dedicated toilet and bathroom, added an extra layer of comfort and exclusivity to the session. A truly indulgent and rejuvenating escape.
I booked my session on Gowabi app and had a great deal of 1490 THB for an Aromatherapy massage.
If you decide to check out the deal on Gowabi app, enter my code " panwara-8160842 " at checkout to get 100 baht off for your...
Read moreBad service and etiquette. Therapist asked to change clothes and told that she'd come back in next 5mins. However, another therapist came by only 2mins after that, knocked and suddenly opend the door without permission from customer in the room. We told we're not ready yet. And then after 1mins she knocked and suddenly opened the door again with no permission from us!!! Bad and inpropriate service training. The technique is so-so, not that impressive. And the spa ended with cheap snacks in somewhat spa room with no proper seats. Not relate with the price. No completely...
