🍽️ Quick Bite at EatAmAre – Weighed, Measured & Just Enough! 🥗
So here’s the story: I was racing between meetings and needed to grab a quick bite — nothing fancy, just fuel. I spotted EatAmAre, which you’ll find in a bunch of Bangkok spots. It’s one of those restaurants that runs like a well-oiled machine — everything is portioned, measured, and perfectly prepped to never go over budget, weight, or wiggle room. 😂
I ordered the chicken salad with sesame dressing on the side (because, let’s be real, everything in Thailand is secretly dessert — even salad dressings! 🍬). I also asked for Tabasco because I like my meals savory and my desserts sweet, not the other way around. 😅
The food was exactly what you’d expect: clean, no-frills, and decent. It wasn’t gourmet, but it did the job.
What stood out to me most was the staff. Super polite and sweet, though the service felt a bit robotic. Everyone was masked up, even though we’re well past that phase (and let’s be honest — masks didn’t really do much anyway). I do wish I could’ve seen their faces and smiles, and had a bit more human connection instead of just finger-pointing at the menu and nodding. But hey — they were respectful, quick, and followed the system.
✅ Clean place. ✅ Food was okay. ✅ Service was okay — just a bit too masked and minimal for my liking.
It’s a good emergency spot when you need something simple, fast, and consistent.

Read moreI was really looking forward to coming here after reading the reviews but ultimately I was very disappointed in the food. I know it’s cheap so expectations were low, but even those low expectations didn’t get met. If you’ve ever had real western food or if you’re from America, I definitely recommend just skipping this place. The cheese toast has a funny taste to it, like if it has seeet butter on it or something. The baked potato was meh (it also has mayo on it - gross), the French fries are a bit flavorless borderline taste like stale fries and the grilled chicken was lacking in taste as well.
I ended up only taking a few bites of everything to give it a fair chance but ended not finishing any of it. It just wasn’t sitting right with me or my stomachs. And to make matters worse when I got back to my hotel I ended up getting the runs… The service was also quite slow too despite being early morning and the restaurant only being half full. It took a few minutes just to get a refill on my Coke. I don’t usually like leaving negative reviews but this place was just that...
Read moremostly local customers but i see some western faces or maybe russians? I like this restaurant a lot and will certainly come back from time to time to try the different dishes on their menu, which offer substantial choices and combinations: fried fish and chips, pork, chicken, beef, salads, burgers, sausages, also side dishes, creamy soups, soft drinks, fruit punch, tea and alcohols. Perhaps most important: the dishes are yummy, not too light (or too small portion as you often find in other ordinary Thai restaurants), dishes not oily, not too salty or too sweet, and prices very affortable! The restaurant offer a cozy and spacious environment to enjoy your meals, seats are almost full at peak hours but not noisy at all. Waiters are readily serving you, no need to wait too long for food, but credit card...
