Very intriguing market with many stalls offering handmade artwork and a variety of workshops . Some lovely restaurants and cafes offering delicious treats . I attended during the low season and so there was not much activity going on but I created a painting at one of the shops . I noticed the staff tactically charging for the smallest things , for example I paid about 200 baht for a small canvas - DIY paint session but when I wanted to take it home , hoping they gave me a plastic bag to carry it in , the lady wanted to charge additional . I live in Bangkok and this is not the norm , if you pay for a session it should be all inclusive . Anyway I suspected it was because she wanted to make more cash. Otherwise very beautiful market , got many souvenirs.
