Reiz - Private Residence — Hotel in Chiang Mai Province

I’ve stayed in a lot of different places around Asia in the past year and Reiz is for sure one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at.

We lived in Reiz Residence as a couple for about 4 or 5 months and tried 2 different appartments : a normal one on the first floor and the big loft on the top floor. Both were super good.

Immediately felt at home here, the owner Dominic and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

The balcony is very big and has a comfortable chair and footrest that basically became my office for the whole stay.

The area is quiet and not too far from the city center : 10-15 minutes ride depending on where you’re going. You need a scooter to go around though (or you can use Grab if you don’t feel confortable riding a scooter)

There are some nice coffeeshops and restaurants around the residence (highly recommended you go eat a Khao soi at the Happy Hut restaurant next door - one of the best I tried)

All in all, couldn't recommend this place more whether you're here for a few days trip or for a few months. We will happily come back next time we're in...

I booked this place last minute as most accommodations were already full. I found it by chance and paid 1,500 baht.

Check-in was easy and contactless — the owner sent the entrance code via email. There’s no staff on-site, but everything was clearly explained.

The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was large and super comfortable. I loved that the bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the bathtub was also big. Netflix was available on the TV, which was a nice touch.

Overall, I was really impressed. The place felt peaceful and private — perfect for relaxing. I’ll definitely stay here...
