After shopping here for so many years while working and living at the Boat Lagoon, now that I moved to a different area in Phuket I realize how special this shop is managed. You won’t get Yvonne Symons’ personalized service, tips and smile at other villa markets around Phuket. Yvonne is always super helpful to accommodate special requests, is always around on site, and is receptive to any suggestions. During Covid, this villa market was front of the line with food care packages for the neighborhood, showing not only good customer service but also care and compassion for others. Have been going here as I do t have a choice. But now that I went to Bukis Villa market I see what better service I get here compared to boat lagoon. The staff at boat lagoon seem uninterested all the e time, and this is two year observation and not one time. Also if you’re not white skin be ready for some discriminatory looks from staff and ill treatment. The owner of this place better look deep into customer service. I Would highly recommend shopping at Villa. The ambience is great, more like walking through a tranquil spa versus the trolley rage in most supermarkets. We are always able to find our french and English brands and local high quality products. Thanks to Yvonne Symons for always providing the best customer service, a human touch, and bringing warmth to the shopping shopping experience.
