The company provides several tours, including the phi phi island and James Bond island (two different tours). We were planning to take them both, but after taking the phi phi island tour, we had ENOUGH! Lets make it clear - the staff is great and we have nothing against them. But the company is the most expensive one in them all. They take 3700 bhat for person, promising so many things that they didn't really keep. First they promise free drinks and snacks in the speed boat, in reality there is water and soda and the snacks are slice of dried pineapple in the morning and slice of watermelon at the end of the day. The tour is al about phi phi island, including lunch on the island. Well, lunch is horrible, you have only 1 hour on the phi phi island, in this hour you must eat and explore the island!! Like - what?? Really!? Next is the monkey island. On the broshoure they say they will take you to the monkey beach. We were sure we will get down to the beach. On board the guide said "when getting to the monkey beach don't feed the monkeys", meaning we were really getting on the beach. In reality we just stood very far from them, and the guide said they don't have insurance!!! Now this os a real scam. After paying the highest price we expect to get the best value and we didn't. The sea on the way back was very very rough, abnormally rough. In total we had bad experience. We demanded and got half the money back. The beaches are magnificent and very...
Read moreConvenience - We signed up for this tour as it was convenient, they have a sign up counter situated at the entrance of the hotel.
They offer pick up at the hotel.
Friendly - staff and tour guides are helpful and informative and considerate. As they help tourist up and down the boat. Also helped a tourist when one of them kicked a sea urchin, to apply medication.
Cleanliness - boat itself is clean and well maintained.
Cons-
Crowds - huge crowds around 30 people in a boat.
Time spent- lots of time wasted on travelling.
An hour van ride from the hotel to their pier and an hour ride back to the hotel.
An hour boat ride to the islands and an hour back to their base. 2 hours gone travelling on boat.
In total time spent on travelling is 4 hours. Half a working day.
Schedule - feels rushed for Maya Island, and phi phi Island. Too much time spent on bamboo island, with not much to do. The times slot we took were from 9am - 4.30pm. Crowds are ludicrous.
Lunch - although it comes with the tour. It wasn't great. It was rushed and didn't have time to explore the area. Could have removed bamboo Island to have longer lunch time. Food was definately lacking in flavour and lacked options.
Hope you guys can improve as there is alot of potential with great staff and boat.
Probably won't be back again after this trip....
