One of the most beautifull beaches in Thailand - Very remote, not crowded, in the bay water is very calm, cristal clear and super to swim, on each side of the bay are nice spots for snorkeling - lots of fishes and corals. Very wild jungle around with majestic birds sound. Also lots of snakes but mostly go away when they saw you - once one snake came with frog in the mouth while we were eating lunch - impressive...There is a river coming on one side to the bay and you can cross it on very scenic bridge. Read moreBeautiful beach which is rather big. It has a very small coastline for most of the day so expect to be sitting on grass right next to the water. There’s also an outside shower and nice toilets in nearby restaurant.
May be difficult for someone less mobile to enter water as it can be a rather big step down onto the sand.
Crystal clear water. Recommend to hire a snorkel and fins from the nearby BB Divers (200 baht) and going out to the left of Bang Bao where there is a small pier and LOTS of fish and coral.

It is approx 200m from the main road. Bungalows are just 10m from the beach... Actually on the beach 😁 At the time I was there, July 3-6,there were barely any guests... Not more than 30 people so that the beach was almost empty and quite and I could only hear waves and birds clearly. Restaurant is pricey, but expected, in comparison to Bangkok, noodle soup with sea food 120BHT, oysters 220BHT. No shop in the bay but 15min walking to the shop on the main road. It was one in the best places...
