Hidden Gem by Monkey bar Koh Kood — Restaurant in Trat Province

One star for the location and one for a nice setting. We found this place would be a nice idea to visit, have a couple of cocktails and enjoy the music and sunset. Well, after 10 minutes of waiting and waiving we barely got the menu. Tried waiting another 15-20 minutes to order, but absolutely no one was available. 4 persons in the bar, filling up the fridge, yet no one is interested in serving the guests. Empty bottles and glasses all around from previous guests on the tables... Feels quite uncomfortable and unwelcome. Shout out to management or whoever! Even though you are preparing for dinner and evening there actually ARE people who would like to make an order and leave their money. 3 tables waiting at the same time... What do you think we are here just to sit for free?? At the end left and found another bar nearby where we spent the rest of the day and afternoon. Sad and completely disgusted, unfortunately cannot...

Hello everyone, don't know where to say it so I will update here: the bar is closed until October (open again in October) so if you wanted to come on this beach to enjoy cocktail (like me 🤣) well be patient and book your hotel in 2-3 weeks (2024)

Bang Bao beach is a nice place to chill if you are looking for a quiet, not so crowded beach. Lots of seats at this bar. Mojito was average, but mango ice cream was a winner - rich, refreshing and not too sweet. The bar only opens at 2pm, but the adjoining restaurant is open for lunch.
