⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Views!

Chedi Wat Khao Hua Chuk is an absolute must-visit if you're in the area. Nestled on a hill, this serene and spiritual place offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The peaceful atmosphere makes it perfect for reflection, meditation, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature.

The chedi itself is beautifully designed and well-maintained, with intricate details that showcase the rich cultural and religious heritage of Thailand. The climb up the hill is manageable, and the reward at the top is worth every step. On a clear day, you can see for miles, and the sunset views are simply magical.

What I loved most was the sense of tranquility and the lack of crowds, which made the experience even more special. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this place offers a unique and memorable experience. Don't forget to bring water and wear comfortable shoes for the climb!

Highly recommend visiting Chedi Wat Khao Hua Chuk for a peaceful escape and a chance to connect with nature and spirituality.

"Visited Chedi Wat Khao Hua Chuk and was blown away by the serene atmosphere and stunning views! The climb up the steps is worth it—panoramic sights of Chaweng, the airport, and the ocean are breathtaking. The golden pagoda is beautiful, and the peaceful vibe makes it a perfect spot to unwind. Entry is just 20 THB, and the monks were so kind, even offering us coffee and snacks. A hidden gem on Koh Samui—highly recommend!""Visited Chedi Wat Khao Hua Chuk and was blown away by the serene atmosphere and stunning views! Visiting the Wat Khao Hua Chuk Pagoda on Koh Samui in June was an outstanding experience that was both culturally and spiritually enriching. Located on a hilltop, the pagoda offers stunning 360-degree views of the island, including Samui Airport, making it a great place to watch planes take off and land.

As soon as you arrive, you can feel the peaceful atmosphere emanating from the Buddhist monks and golden statues that adorn the grounds. Entry is just 20 baht, which is very reasonable considering the impressive views and spiritual significance of the site.

The pagoda itself is an architectural masterpiece and houses a museum that tells the story of Buddhism in Thailand through a carefully curated collection of artifacts, scriptures and images. Particularly fascinating are the stone carvings that depict stories from Buddhist scriptures and local folklore, highlighting the cultural depth of Thailand.

Visiting in the early morning or late afternoon not only offers the best opportunity to avoid the heat, but also to fully enjoy the tranquility of the place. The sunsets that can be seen from the hill are particularly impressive and provide a perfect backdrop for a more meditative experience.

It is important to dress respectfully as this is an active place of worship. This means covering shoulders and knees and removing shoes before entering the main temple.

Overall, visiting Wat Khao Hua Chuk Pagoda was a worthwhile experience that offered a unique blend of spiritual enlightenment, cultural immersion and natural beauty. A true insider tip on Koh Samui that leaves a lasting...

Khao Hua Chuk Chedi is part of Wat Sawang Arom on Chaweng Beach. On the top of Hua Chuk Hill is Sri Sukkot Khiri Chedi. Or as known by locals and tourists as Khao Hua Chuk Chedi It is said that in the past, about 70 years ago, Luang Pu Klob created a replica of the Buddha's footprint. But the building has decayed over time. Luang Por Songad took the money he had accumulated over many decades to build a pagoda to cover the Buddha's footprint. and Somdet Than Chao Khun Phutthachan of Wat Saket He gave the relics of the Lord Buddha and placed them on top of the pagoda for Samui Buddhists to pay homage. and tourists who come to visit Koh Samui, including a view below overlooking Samui Airport Along Chaweng Lake Clean white beaches and beautiful sea water also...

My visit to Pagoda Khao Hua Jook was a highlight during my travels. A brief but rewarding five-minute climb up the stairs leads to the entrance, which has a nominal fee of 20 THB. Upon reaching the top, I was greeted with a breathtaking panorama. The view of the serene Chaweng Lake below is complemented by the bustling scene of the airport on the opposite side. It's an ideal spot for capturing stunning photographs against a picturesque backdrop. The tranquility is preserved due to the relatively few visitors, making it a peaceful retreat. Should your journey take you nearby, I highly recommend taking a moment to stop at this pagoda to unwind and take in the spectacular views.

Monthly place of worship for me. It's a long walk up so be prepared if you are not driving. Dress code must be observed the same as every temple in Thailand. For tourists, just look out for signage to guide you around and if you are unsure of the step to pray ,look for the old lady who is usually near the stairs where you can head up to the highest point of the temple. I'm not sure if they still charge a fee so just check around. Anyway, that's sort of like a donation towards the upkeep of the place . Parking is available for both bikes and cars along the slip road around the temple.
