Ordered from here 3 times during my stay. First I had wrap and poke bowl, both okay but nothing special. Second time I ordered Thai tea latte with soy milk and it had no flavour. Tasted like black tea with soy milk. Worst Thai Tea I had in Thailand. Third time I ordered Chocolate Croissant and Shakshouka. Croissant was okay but very dry. We waited for 20minutes for Shakshouka while customers who came after us got served before, even warm meals. When asking where is the food after waiting 25 minutes they said it will take 20 more minutes. When I then asked for money back they said it will only take 10 minutes, as if we're haggling. I asked for money back anyways since they were just changing waiting time at random. They returned us money back in cash. I really wanted to like this place as there aren't many vegan friendly places on the island but it was disappointing. Also is not fully vegetarian place as they serve fish, but they do have many vegan and veggie options. The place is located in a mall in eating area...
Read moreOh dear, what has happened at Annie’s in Central today? There were no waiting staff & fewer kitchen staff. This resulted in dirty uncleared tables and the implementation of an unfriendly, impersonal IPad ordering system with bleepers to tell you when your food was ready. I ordered soup & my partner a poke bowl. We had been waiting a while before we noticed that my soup was sitting on the counter. They obviously hadn’t beeped us as the poke bowl wasn’t ready. We gave it a minute but then I had to go and ask if the soup was mine & if so could I take it before it went cold. It was another few minutes into the poke bowl was ready. We noticed quite a few people waiting a while for their food & drinks today and they were clearly unhappy. Hopefully this is a one off but if it’s a new system please re think it. Annie’s has been great for us & it would be a shame to...
Read moreThe place is well-known, there are several locations.
I ordered a mushroom burrito for 260 baht. Got a beet and carrot burrito for 260 baht, which was not what I planned for. There were no visible or noticeable mushrooms in it, and the sauce inside the burrito wasn't tasty. The white sauce on the side was okay.
I asked the staff if they forgot to put mushrooms, and they said they added 100 grams, which I highly doubt. I barely tasted mushrooms on the very last bite, that's it.
I tried to make a report using the QR code, but it didn't work. Then why have it in the first place? Just for appearance?
Conclusion: this burrito is worth a maximum of 80 baht. Don't overpay; it's not worth it. I don't...
