กำแพงเมืองเก่าน่าน ตั้งอยู่ริมถนนมหาวงศ์ ต.ในเวียง อ.เมืองน่าน จ.น่าน เป็นโบราณสถานสำคัญที่หลงเหลือร่องรอยการสร้างเมืองในอดีต สร้างขึ้นราวพุทธศตวรรษที่ 20 เพื่อเป็นแนวป้องกันศัตรูและแสดงถึงอำนาจการปกครองของนครน่าน เดิมทีเมืองน่านมีกำแพงและคูเมืองล้อมรอบ ปัจจุบันยังคงเหลือกำแพงบางส่วนให้ได้ชม โดยเฉพาะแนวที่บูรณะใหม่ให้เห็นความงามแบบดั้งเดิม

เมื่อมายืนใกล้กำแพงอิฐ จะสัมผัสได้ถึงความขลังและเรื่องราวในอดีต บรรยากาศร่มรื่นด้วยต้นไม้ใหญ่ เหมาะสำหรับการเดินเล่น ชมความงาม และถ่ายภาพ นอกจากนี้ยังอยู่ไม่ไกลจากวัดภูมินทร์และวัดพระธาตุช้างค้ำ ทำให้สามารถเที่ยวชมเป็นเส้นทางเดียวกันได้

Unfortunately the place is covered with rubbish. Depressing actually. Currently the community is not taking pride in its history despite multiple restorations in the last 20 years. I couldn't wait to leave. Chiang Mai is much better for tourist to visit...
