Quiet and Peaceful Atmosphere – Not crowded with tourists, making it a calm place to visit. Donation Area – There are some donation boxes, but the temple feels a bit dry and less maintained compared to others in Thailand. Hot Weather – If you visit during midday, it can get quite hot, so bring a hat or umbrella. Random Beautiful Rooster – Not sure who owns it, but there’s a really pretty rooster wandering around!

My family and I visited Wat Khiri Wongkaram and found it to be a peaceful, serene temple. It’s not very large or crowded, which makes it feel extra special. The main temple is beautiful, with a golden Buddha in the center and walls completely covered in intricate artwork from top to bottom. Another highlight is the shrine of the mummified monk. A kind monk there told us we could take photos, but we chose to let him rest undisturbed. He also blessed us with traditional thread bracelets, which made the visit feel even more meaningful.
