Read moreThey have really good seating on a wide, beautiful and cleaned beach. The 5 islands & Ang Thong marine park view is awesome. The mature trees offer great shading throughout the day.
They have many smiling waiters which ensure quick service. The meals took some time to be served but understandably as they had many customers and some meals required more time to prepare.
However, we didn't appreciate the taste of the food that was served. We asked which meals were from frozen food and which were not, but we were served frozen food nonetheless.
Some parts of the seabass was distasteful and clearly tasted frozen fish, no seasoning and cooked in oil rather than butter. The garlic butter sauce was just chopped garlic in cooking oil. The salad didn't have any sauce and the baked potato was skinless. The duck curry tasted water and sugar rather than curry and wasn't spicy at all. Overall, the food was a complete miss (0/5), despite priced as a good quality restaurant.
Cocktails were ok, worth the 100b price during happy hour from 4pm to 6pm.
I usually give places a second chance when they don't get it right the first time, but the food was so ordinary and expensive (for the quality) that I won't go...
Read moreWe have come many times over the years to this restaurant where we have appreciated the place, the magnificent setting, a little out of the way, intimate, the welcome, the good cuisine, the kindness of the staff, the atmosphere. .. In short, we loved it. This evening, another atmosphere: post-covid work fills us with a bar like in any good beach hotel but deserted. The ordinary and boring welcome, the really ordinary food without smell or flavor which leaves a taste of glutamate in the mouth, like an aspirin tablet and which makes you miss frozen foods, and above all, the lights going out at the last second. Nothing worse than the waiter putting out the candles and lamps to put the chairs on the tables before bringing you the dessert menu. The site praises the resurrection of the site in the post-covid period!!! It is in fact only a second death that awaits them because the whole spirit of the place has been lost. There are really too many good canteens nearby not to inflict this tourist trap punishment on yourself. Go...
