Air Bar Samui — Restaurant in Ko Samui

Beautiful sunset... but apart from the view nothing remarkable at all. 1)Ordered fresh guava juice and we brought a nasty mix of sugary green liquid from the pack ( they changed it after we complained). 2) Paid more than 500TBH for a less than ordinary Tom Yum and fried rice with crab. Had a very bad heartburn for the rest of the evening. 3) Waiters can barely speak English 4) We had to pay 1K per person to get a seat with the view... considering all the cons I have mentioned earlier, paying 1K for 10 minutes of sun watching...

A truly remarkable cliffside bar completely open to the sea, with perhaps the best sunset on the entire island. Not only is it at elevation on the southwest coastline of Koh Samui island but there are no glasses or barriers to obstruct your view. And with their bar that also serves appetizers and tapas, you should definitely go out of your way to come here.

Pro tip: there's even a happy hour BOGO on certain cocktails from 7-8pm! Also, come early to...

The view is stunning and the setting is lovely, but the service was hit and miss. We waited over 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order or even welcome us. Long waits and a lack of follow through just left us disappointed. Drinks were pricey, and they add a 10% service charge on top which I’m fine with if the experience matches, but it really didn’t.
