Pada Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Ko Samui

We went here three times while staying in Am Samui Resort! They lady serving us was so sweet, always welcoming us with a smile and the food did not take long to prepare. Over the three days my friend and I had chicken stir fry with basil, vegetarian pad thai, vegetarian mama noodles, vegan/vegetarian red curry stir fry, homemade vegetable spring rolls and mango sticky rice. The mango sticky rice is the best one we've tried so far (even better than the Michellin one in Bangkok), it's just soo good. We ordered Mango smoothies every time which was also really delicious and not expensive at all (way cheaper than in our hotel and better quality). I would definitely come back here and can recommend all the food we had. The lady is also very accommodating and flexible when it comes to food preferences (e.g., vegetarian curry instead of chicken curry). The restaurant itself may not be the most aesthetic but...

Pada Thai Resturant in Koh Samui was one of our very favourite places to eat in Thailand. Pada is the one woman wonder and makes such authentic exquisite dishes. Every dish is bursting with flavour and is cooked fresh. The prices are so reasonable; we fell in love with this place. Our faves were: chicken mussaman curry, chicken with caches nuts, deep friend chicken with garlic and pepper, Penang curry with chicken, & chicken pad Thai. The mango fruit shake is also so rich and delicious and full of mango, compared to beach resorts that are more full of ice. We devoured every last bit, every single time. Stumbled into PADA THAI and basically never left. The food? Authentic, flavorful, and downright addictive. The portions? Big enough to make me question my life choices. The prices? Way better than the tourist traps.

The staff treats you like royalty—checking in just enough to make sure you’re happy but not enough to be annoying. And if you don’t know what to order, they’ll happily guide you to food nirvana.
