A lovely, amazingly clean medium sized park. Opens at 4:30am for early risers. There are food vendors to the right of the main entrance in the mornings. The park has walking, jogging, biking paths and many quiet places to sit and relax. You'll find several shaded picnic tables. There is a beautiful bridge in the park that I'm sure has a history. Now it's used as a jogging or walking path. Also there are several basketball courts, and a tennis court. I saw some soccer nets but they were in bad condition. In the park are several pavilions to hide from the showers that appear quickly here. The park is quite peaceful and quiet and I spent many hours walking or relaxing there....

I understand sweating is normal with exercise but I was sweating just standing in the lobby (No AC).
So I opted for an outside walk and workout where the air was much less warm and humid.

Read moreA large size park in the middle of Phuket. There are plenty of parking spaces. It has a lot of trees and shade for runners and walkers. The paths are separated into blue one for bikes and red one for walking and running. The path wraps around the park. They are marked distance from the start point along the path.
The park is well-maintained and nice. The walkway and the bikeway were right beside the roads, but the noises from traffic was buffered out by the thick wall. It’s pretty quiet...
