An amazing restaurant serving amazing food made by an amazingly friendly chef. This is truly one of the best eating experiences I have had in Thailand, and if you are visiting Phuket you owe it to yourself to visit this place.
We got there right before 5pm, just before the dinner rush and we were fortunate to be the first ones seated. Aside from eating though we did not spend much time seated, the real magic is in watching Chef Dang work the wok. His skill is unbelievable and on top of that, he is such a friendly and personable guy, and his staff are really friendly and attentive as well.
We ordered the fried chicken with garlic and pepper, seafood salad, Thai omelet stuffed with minced pork, minced pork with sataw (stink beans) in shrimp paste, and cashew chicken. Everything was perfectly cooked, the flavor of each dish was incredible. We were so full after our sit down meal but we had to grab some extra dishes to take home with us because it was so incredible. The total cost for 6 mains with a Chang and two coconut sap drinks was 1,086 baht (about $40 CAD. Just insane considering that Jadjan is a Michelin Star Restaurant.
Thank you to the Chef and his staff, we will see you...
Read moreEat. Here. Immediately. This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had! The family - father/daughter that run this restaurant are just so kind and they care so much for their food and their customers. The chef who has worked previously at 5 star restaurants is super friendly and more than happy for people to watch him work his wok magic. The sea bass fish curry we had was absolutely epic. The most meaty, fresh piece of fish in a deliciously fragrant curry. The prawns in a Tom yum stir fry were succulent and tasty. Huge. Prawns. This is a smaller side of the road restaurant and you can really experience the vibe of phuket by pulling up, grabbing a seat and ordering a myriad of dishes to chow down. I couldn’t tell you a favourite dish as all of them were delicious even the morning glory had a great wok taste. Bill came to around 1000 THB for 5 dishes, 2 large beers and waters, I’ve paid 5 times that for food not...
Read moreI have been in this restaurant 2 years ago but my post was not recorded, so i have to write it again, because this place deserves it. It is owned by the friendly Chef Danny, who has been a chef in 5 stars hotels in America for many years. And let me tell you, the man really has got some skills. So much that i still remember the lunch to this day. Ordered a crab curry and a mix of fried garlic black pepper seafood, it was absolutely delicious, well seasonned and spiced. Chef Danny looks like he is dancing when he cooks, years of experience are speaking,in a festival of flames and fire. Unfortunately i have been able to go there only one time, but i am sure the whole menu is on the same level. For the quality and quantity, prices are reasonable, i definitely recommend this place, and crave to go back there one day. Don't miss it when you are in...
