My journey to this beautiful Thai temple began as I crossed the Malaysian border, seeking shelter for the night with my Finnish friend. With open hearts and kindness, the monks at Wat Phuttha Thiwat welcomed us, offering a place to stay, food, and warmth. 🙏✨ Their generosity reflected the true essence of Buddhism—compassion and selflessness.
During our stay, we also met a kind soul who helped us continue our journey to Yala, guiding us forward with the same spirit of kindness that this temple embodied. 🌿🕊️

Read moreIf you are visiting Betong but do not visit this temple, I don't think you have visited this town. It is significantly large temple at this Southern Thailand and it has the nicest view if you climb until the top. Pretty quiet during normal days.
