Excellent soft play for kids. This place is pretty big, the biggest one I've been to with my daughter. My daughter absolutely loved it. The main big slide is closed as default, I think you have to book in to use this which is understandable as the slide is quite steep for regular play. My wife and I were able to sit and have a coffee and food without having to worry about our daughter, the area is very secure. As you'd expect, the cost of eating in places like this is higher than you'd normally pay. The food was really nice, we both had the baked potato, I had it with chilli con carne, my wife had it with coleslaw and cheese, the coleslaw for a small amount cost £1.20 extra, not worth the £1.20. My daughter had fish fingers with potato smilies. Entry costs vary as there are different options. We choose the option that gave our daughter a drink and biscuits and one adult got a hot drink (this cost us £4.95). Highly recommend if you need to keep your young ones entertained.

What a amazing place! For years my son has been coming to the Big Adventure, and having ADHD and Autism the staff have never discriminated against him. They are fantastic with him. Last Night he had his 8th Birthday and majority of his friends were from his school with multiple different complex needs and the staff excelled themselves. They were so patient, organised and willing to go above and beyond the party organising. This resulted in my son and all his friends having a ball. And for once me not having to stress. I wholeheartedly recommend the Big Adventure from the date i booked the party their communications, flexibility and understanding has been great and for that i thank you! And my Son Charlie thanks you for an amazing 8th Party! You know we will be back soon. 😁

We visited the big adventure on a Thursday afternoon which is a good time if you enjoy the soft play not to busy. It cost 3 of us (2 adults and an 11 month old) £3.95 and we where allocated 2 hours which was plenty of time. We ordered 2 paninies with chips for ourselves and a macaroni cheese for the little one which came with a free diluting juice which we enjoyed. There was plenty of toys to play with for his age range and the soft play looks great for older kids. Staff were friendly and toilets clean. Location quite easy to find although the car park is full of pot holes so be careful when parking. We would return again in the future.

The Big Adventure is definitely a place to take older kids, but that isn't what my review is going to be about. Overall its a nice place, friendly staff, very clean and very accommodating.

There are a few things though that let the Big Adventure down compared to some of the other soft-play centres that are not too far away from it.

Firstly - They don't sell any fruit what so ever. Its not a big issue as there is a Tesco around the corner, but they do have a "if its not bought here, it can't be consumed here" rule. They were very nice and allowed me to give my daughter the bananas I had purchased as they admitted that the rule is silly if they don't sell the stuff you want to eat.

Secondly, the baby area is pretty good, but has a few fundamental issues. The steps to get onto the equipment is too small for any children that are probably under 2.5 years old, as is the ramp the kids use to get to the chute. Also, the holes in the net bridge are too wide for little feet, ideally this netting should be replaced with netting that has smaller diameter holes to stop toddlers feet getting stuck in the holes.

Thirdly, and this here is the big one for me. The adults are not allowed to accompany the children onto the larger child frame. My daughter loves to go on the chutes but the chutes are too big and far too fast to allow her to come down. She went down the blue chute on her own and crashed head over heels at the bottom due to insufficient slow down space.

Overall its an absolutely great place if you want to take older kids, but for toddlers there are other places that are more...

Took my kids there today cos it's a bank holiday Monday today. My two year old had a great time and so did my friend's kids. The main soft play area is massive with easily 5+ levels. I went in for a while with my two year old while she's warming up, have to say I found the course fun even as an adult.

Had a small problem at one point with a toy vending machine. A member of staff was prompt to help and offered us the money back.

They only take cash at the door, but there's a free cash machine right at the counter, so as long as you have a debit card there's no need to panic. Weirdly enough, they do take card payment at the café area with a min spend of £5.

Another nice thing that happened was that the staff at the café was able to provide us with hot water to warm up some baby food, although they'd charge for hot water if it's for drinking supposedly. That was nice gesture.

One little suggestion though, it would be about time the bathroom can do with a refresh, it was clean, just looked...
