KFC — Restaurant in Scotland

Went through the drive through, pulled up to the order window and the one of the female staff members (don't know names) looked at me and sighed, paused for a sec before taking my order. I initially thought the lady was having a bad day, everyone gets those, but it wasn't until I pulled up to the next window, I waited five minutes before staff acknowledged my presence. Once they knew I was there I was handed two fantas and a coke, even though I had ordered a 14 piece bargain bucket.

It only gets better after this, after I had informed the staff member of their error, the man serving me turned round to the other staff and corrected my order, then another male staff member started shouting and swearing, he even aggressively tossed his cap to the floor and proceeded to complain loudly about how he had to go outside to drop off certain drive through orders (once again, swearing loudly enough for me to hear) To top everything off a group of three staff members, grouped up and pointed at me and quietly started talking about me amongst themselves (The fact that one of the staff members pointed at me and they all kept intermittently looking at me proves this)

This is absolutely unacceptable, everyone coming to this store, this is my advice to you; If you would like to be sighed at by rude staff instead of greeted, or if you want to be shouted at because you're ordering food then I would highly recommend this restaurant, I don't normally swear in my reviews but the behavior of the staff in this restaurant is absolutely f*ing...

Food awful at this KFC. This is my local KFC, used to be good but standards have went way downhill. Got food there at drive through the other day, chicken was totally tasteless, didn't seem like usual recipe, tasted like it had been submerged in water with no flavouring. They always get order wrong, or they've ran out of something which they dont declare until you've already ordered. For example no lettuce, eh no mayo! I wouldn't have ordered anything if they told me at the start. Also had no lemonade!! This was all in the same day!! One particularly bad day they wouldn't accept card payments but you weren't aware of this until you stood in the queue and waited. Only to realise they had stuck up a hand made note on window declaring this which had been written in the most faintest writing ever with the weakest lead in their pencil or maybe they wrote in lemon juice. Although they were very busy the other day it was always like this anyway. When restaurant was open they would cordon off whole place giving you limited seating areas of their dirty tables while keeping the rest of place clean and out of bounds. Also toilets always bad condition, only one toilet in use and so totally freezing , only ice cold water to wash your hands. This kfc doesnt even deserve my one star. I will not be back, I've gave it too many chances. Oh and thanks for the free popcorn chicken (another muck up) unfortunately it was inedible. KFC in Linwood. Since this place opened I visit here from time to time, sometimes I DINE in and others it's take out. There has been the odd occasion I've had delivery as they also subscribe to that facility. In 2025 I've visited the drive through on 3 occasions so far. Each time the staff have been great. Very upbeat, chatty and genuinely come across as pleased to provide a good service. Lately the food has been very good, piping hot chicken.. highly recommend the rice bowl.

On a recent Face to face I have found the visit to be positive. The young lady who took my order was very clear and politely spoken, a true service with a smile. The order was quickly received and complete, which is a welcomed improvement from previous visits. I like to be fair and positive and always give folks a few chances to improve customer service and, KFC in Linwood have been steadily and consistently been raising their customer service standards over this past year. KFC tastes amazing and in line with my lateast visit and experience Im pleased to say Its even better to have the food arrive hot.
