Be careful of being deceived with prices! There is no information about prices, everything is only from the words of the cashier, who speaks only Turkish and does not explain anything. I came with my wife, a question from the cashier: two tickets to the top? Answer: yes. Price:1180tl. Ok. Later it turned out that this was the price for the two of us in the cabin, but it was possible to go up twice cheaper, which of course no one said and they earned twice as much for us. Guys, if you do not tell the whole truth and do not post information with prices, then this is a deception!!! This is mean to the guests of the city.

A return ticket costs about £6, which is reasonable. The journey lasts around 5 minutes, offering some lovely views of Alanya. There are a lot of cars on the wire, so even if there’s a queue, you’re not waiting long. We wanted our own, but since we were only a party of 2, we had to share with others (maximum occupancy is 6). The opening hours are generous: it runs until 11pm. We saved it as an evening activity because it was simply too hot during the daytime! Once at the top, you can explore the cliffs and the castle structures. Keep going and you’ll find the Old Bazaar with a few vendors.

We really enjoyed this cable car service. Very easy to find, close to the Cleopatra beach. Tickets: 100 Lira return, 90 Lira one way fir tourists. Its cheaper if you have Turkish ID. Students need to proof with ISIC card for discount. Safe journey with modern car with lovely view. On the end you can walk uphill to the Bazaar, Suleiman mosque and walls. It's about 3 km if you wish to walk downhill on the other side of the hill and walk down to Alanya Harbour. It's also recommended to use this Teleferik to watch sunset from the top of the hill.

2024 September. Keep in mind there are two waiting lines, for two persons you should pay 390 lyras for two way ticket. Once at the top of the cable car stop you would have to walk up the stairs, if you want to reach Alanya kalesi (castle) that is extra ~2km. The castle entrance tickets are 60lyras for locals and 12Eur for foreigners, which is a bit strange. However, we walked down the hill, there are some restaurants like "Kale" with nice views and good coctails. P.S. make sure to buy one way ticket at teleferik and enjoy the walk down.

Heute hatten wir wieder Lust auf einen kleinen Ausflug. Zwei Tage zuvor hatten wir schon vom Piratenschiff aus die Burg mit ihren vielen Zinnen gesehen. Nun wollten wir sie auf dem Landweg erkunden. Für den Aufstieg entschieden wir uns mit der Seilbahn hoch zu fahren. Wir mussten auch nicht lange anstehen um ein günstiges Ticket zu bekommen. Danach ging es gleich rein in die Godel und Abfahrt. Die Aussicht war einfach atemberaubend. Herrlich klarer Himmel, Sonnenschein und unter uns der traumhafte Strand mit seinen Buchten und ein Blick in weite Ferne. Direkt unter uns konnten wir auch viele kleine Wege ausmachen, die zur Burg hinauf oder auch hinunter führen. Oben an der Bergstation angekommen, mussten wir noch einige Stufen bewältigen und wurden unterwegs mit einem tollen Ausblick in den Hafen und auf Alanya belohnt. Die Stufen waren sehr schön aus Holzbrettern montiert, konnte man fast überall am Burggelände finden. Somit wird auch den Besuchern die etwas unsicher auf den Beinen ein Rundgang etwas erleichtert. Von Anlage selber war noch recht viel und gut erhalten. Auf der Bergspitze gibt es eine Moschee, ein Museum und einige kleine Verkaufsstände und man kann schön spazieren. Es war aber niemand aufdringlich. Die Einheimischen waren allesamt sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns schon vor der Abfahrt entschieden das wir den Rückweg zu Fuß machen möchten. Es war ein schöner Spazierweg der Straße entlang zurück bis zu unserem Hotel Alaaddin Beach am Kleopatrastrand.
