Are you also looking for undiscovered eateries that serve great food? 🤔 Today I found one, and that was only thanks to the introduction by my good local friend
📍 Gayuk is located just behind the Migros, with a nice and spacious terrace. Plenty of shade and sun available. I’d recommend you to go by taxi if you’re in the center.
🥖 All pides are freshly made in a stone oven. And you can actually watch the chef create your order from scratch!
By the way, you can’t find such pides elsewhere; Gayuk serves a special style pide from the Black Sea region.
I tried kıymalı and kavurmalı pide, both with minced meat. One with cheese, and another with molten butter. Along with that came a plate with deliciously pickled veggies: carrots, cabbage, and peppers 🌶
Will try their breakfast next time, and will let you know how it was—apparently it’s really good. Two sodas, two bottles of water, two tea, two pides, complementary pickles, and a desert should in total cost you around 15 euros which is a very good price given the location, and the high quality standard.

Best pide we had on our two month journey in Turkey.
A very nice, not touristed, pearl. Go visit yourself and enjoy the spinach pide, beans in tomato soup and/or homemade ayran.
The prices are super good, one of the cheapest places we ate!! We ate 3 people for 200 tl.
