Işık Lokantası Çerçiler — Restaurant in Kaş

We went to a lot of cities in Turkey and it is definitely the most expensive restaurant we have ever been. There were two of us, we ordered 2 portions of rice, 1 portion of meatball with tomato sauce, 1 portion of chicken in sauce, 1 plate with a slice of eggplant and 1 coke and the bill was 1100 turkish liras. We went to others Lokantasi in other cities, ordered the same thing and the bill never went beyond 450 liras. The restaurant was recommended by the owner of the hotel where we were staying and he said it was good and cheap. We made the mistake of completely believing the recommendation, we didn't ask the price and we didn't see the price indication anywhere, so we pay the dumb tourist price. I regularly visit this restaurant in Çerçiler — it’s honestly the best spot in town. First of all, I want to highlight the atmosphere and the genuine care from the owners. They’re incredibly welcoming and kind people, and you can really feel their heart and hospitality in everything they do.

We had such a wonderful evening here - lovely people and just incredible food. All the dishes were amazing, the doner, the fish... but the pepper steak was the star of the show. Order it and thank me later - I'll be dreaming about it for years to come
