I’ve traveled all over the world into many museums and this is the best I’ve seen.. I can’t believe it’s not more widely spoken about.

I only speak English and the displays all had English and Turkish captioning and the museum staff was so helpful. I went on a Sunday and it was just me and a few other guests, but I was able to spend multiple hours just exploring the area. I love that there’s so many different museums in the one complex.

Some of my favorites were the museum of textiles, which isn’t something I would’ve seek out, but I found myself really moved by seeing how Turkish style has evolved through generations.

The agricultural museum was also something that taught me so much. Originally, I thought I was only going to see mosaics and ancient pieces, but learning about the history of the region was the most interesting thing to me. I would definitely recommend this.

I will definitely be coming back if ever in Turkey, not just this region. I believe this museum sits at the same standard as the Victorian Albert museum in London or the...

Much like a previous reviewer has already said, this is one of the best I've seen and I've travelled a lot! And I, too, am surprised this is not more widely known and spoken about. What a wonderful wonderful museum complex. Incredible artefacts, super interesting descriptions, not too long, not too short, just the right amount of in-depth information in both Turkish and English. It's a spacious building with lots of room to roam and linger. The staff are really lovely and helpful.

Adana and the entire region are incredibly rich in culture and history, it's a joy to learn about it. I'll be coming back - I've only seen part of the vast museum complex now.

A gem in the world of museums. Well...

Lots of artifacts but basic information about the artifacts (like description, time and place it was found, or if it was previously in a private collection and then donated....none of that information is given, so visitors are just looking at a collection of objects and apparently expected not to be curious about them (People who do visit museums are generally interested in details like this). Also the acoustics of the place were terrible; every single sound in there became amplied massively. I don't suffer with sensitive ears so was upset that I had to leave just because I found the place too loud! Museums are quiet contemplative places that I usually adore....not this...

Visiting Adana Museum has left a big positive impression upon me. I have seen all the museums in Turkey and can state with confidence that this museum is number one regarding how objects are displayed and the use of multimedia. The building is an old textile factory, "Milli Mensucat" converted into a modern museum in 2017. The articles displayed are mainly from archeological content and mosaic. Gaziantep Zeugma mosaics are famous but here the environment far surpasses Zeugma. Our guide mentioned that the objective is to position Adana Museum as the biggest museum of the middle east. I am convinced that this is a high possibility.

We went to Adana Archaeology Museum on last Saturday. Both the museum building and the works it contained were wonderful. Then we realized that the museum was located within a museum complex. Then we saw that there were 4-5 more museums around it. We visited them quickly. We were short of time. All of them had really wonderful arrangements and buildings. You pay the entrance fee once and you can visit all the museums. Only the staff showed little interest in the museum. The museum works need to be protected better. We congratulate the planners of these museums and the curators who organize the works.
