Built as a direct replica of the Dome of the Rock shrine in Jerusalem, this is a hidden & equally stunning mosque for your next Abu Dhabi visit. Adorned with a sparkling gold dome and gorgeous blue and turquoise engravings, it is so impressive & intricate example of Islamic architecture. 😍 If you love unique & beautiful architecture, this is a must visit in Abu Dhabi. 💯 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐋 𝐓𝐈𝐏𝐒 ✦ Just 10 mins drive from Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, lies the peaceful and equally stunning Bani Hashim Mosque. So it’s easy to visit both during your visit. ✦ Being a religious place, please dress modestly. Although there was no one to supervise, I chose to cover my hair with scarf with full covering dress. ✦ There is a small free parking just outside the mosque ✦ The interior of the mosque is absolutely stunning. So do pay a visit if possible, I missed it as I was visiting during prayer time. ✦ I never found any opening times online but the ground is mostly accessible throughout the day. I recently visited the Bani Hashim Mosque in Abu Dhabi, a remarkable replica of the iconic Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. The architectural details and artistic design of this mosque are truly breathtaking, reflecting the intricate beauty and spiritual significance of its inspiration. What makes this mosque even more special is that it was personally financed by the Bani Hashim family, who reside next door. It looks exactly like dome of.the.rock.palestine I like the community and its peacful calm place also rich atmosphere. Near by a bmw and benz showroon and souq which makes the region Ultra luxury. Whoever built in middle of community the.poeple are amazing. And the people near by are lucky when they wakeup they see the mosque that is 100 times attractive and always reminds of palestine and ummah

The Bani Hashim mosque in Abu Dhabi resembles The Dome of the Rock in Palestine. The architecture and design of the mosque is unique. The resemblance is uncanny! There was some renovations taking place outside when we visited. Peaceful place little away from city.

The Bani Hashim mosque is located in RabdanAl Maqta’, Abu Dhabi. It features a Gold Dome and a blue and white facade which is strikingly similar to the Dome of the Rock which is located in Jerusalem’s Old City, an Islamic shrine located on the Temple Mount.
