I recently dined at Al Safadi restaurant with my family for a leisurely luncheon, and despite the bustling ambiance, the adept staff promptly secured an inviting table for our party of five within a mere 30 seconds. The service exhibited exceptional celerity, showcasing a commendable orchestration of tasks among the staff, each demonstrating a nuanced understanding of our culinary preferences.
My familiarity with Al Safadi, stemming from my experiences in their Dubai establishment, has been nothing short of gastronomic delight. Managing a capacious dining venue with an impressive array of over 200 tables is no small feat, yet the seamless service and ebullient staff engaged in culinary artistry behind live kitchen stations underscore the establishment's commitment to excellence.
The waitstaff, characterized by their affable demeanor, attentively catered to every request, ensuring a delightful dining experience. The shawarmah, though skillfully executed, exhibited a subtle penchant for saltiness. The lamb Biriani, while not reaching the zenith of Safadi's culinary offerings, featured a rice texture leaning towards sogginess, and the lamb, regrettably, seemed an adjunct rather than an integrated component. The amalgamation of spices, however, imparted a distinct Kabsa nuance, rendering it a commendable dish.
The accompaniments, including the Hummus, avocado salad, calamaries, and Hindbeh, were executed with finesse, harmonizing flavors and textures with precision. The cheese Maajooka, with its delectable taste and impeccably oven-cooked dough, presented a delightful interplay of crispy textures without succumbing to a pasty or chewy consistency.
The chicken scallop burger, a golden epitome of culinary craftsmanship, boasted crispiness and a nuanced depth of flavor. The kebab, while authentically Lebanese with its tantalizing aroma, erred slightly on the side of grease, an anticipated characteristic in this particular culinary tradition. Special commendation is due to Moatasem, our gracious host, who added an extra layer of hospitality to our...
Read moreAl Safadi Restaurant Al Qana, Abu Dhabi Perfect place to have authentic lebanese 🇱🇧 food served at the best with appetizing presentation and taste. Staff is guenuine, and very friendly but no as attentive, the service was relatively slow. I am not sure if it's due to visiting during iftar timing or it is usually slow. We had to repeatedly ask for same things many times in order to get it which was a little disappointing. Some requests were even never applied or followed or perhaps ignored by the waiters. Serving a wide variety of Lebanese main dishes, sides, hot and cold meza, grills and sweets in addition to smoothies and hot drinks. The food quality is excellent and the taste was very good. Fattoush was average and kebbeh nayeh as a little below expectations but was nice and acceptable. Calamari rings were served cold. Fattoush was surprisingly average to below average. . Gave mafroukeh a try, and it was ok. It consists on 70% ashta than the mafroukeh paste itself which had overcome the taste of traditional mafroukeh. You can check variety of daily dishes served during the day. Recommended to make reservations ahead. It has nice view if seated outdoor. Have many dining areas, outdoor and indoor and a separate smoking outdoor area. You can enjoy shisha with good view after your meal. Overall it was a good visit, aside the bad and slow customer service. Will give 4 stars only for food taste...
