افتتح سمو الشيخ طحنون بن محمد آل نهيان، ممثل الحاكم في منطقة العين متحف شرطة المربعة التابع لقسم الموروث الشرطي بإدارة المراسم والعلاقات العامة بقطاع المالية والخدمات بشرطة أبوظبي، بحضور سمو الشيخ ذياب بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس دائرة النقل في أبوظبي، والشيخ هزاع بن طحنون آل نهيان، وكيل ديوان ممثل الحاكم في منطقة العين، ومعالي اللواء محمد خلفان الرميثي، القائد العام لشرطة أبوظبي. وتجول سمو الشيخ طحنون بن محمد آل نهيان، والحضور في أجنحة وقاعات المتحف، واستمعوا إلى شرح حول محتوياته، وما يضمه من مقتنيات وأدوات عسكرية وأسلحة قديمة لم تعد تستخدم، ومراحل تطور الزي العسكري لشرطة أبوظبي إلى جانب وثائق ومعلومات حول قوى الأمن منذ عام 1956، إضافة إلى مراحل تطور الشرطة على مدى العصور...

يبقى الفرد جاهل حتى يتعرف على ما يدور في دولته و ما كان يدور فيها سابقا ، و هذا ما حدث في متحف شرطة المربعه معلومات كثيره و قيمه و رائعه تم طرحها من قبل المرشد الذي هب لتعريفنا على المكان و ابتسامته لم تغب عن محياه البشوش و في آخر الرحله تعرفنا عليه العقيد متقاعد محمد الشكيلي الله لا هانه و الله يرفع شانه...
