What a little gem! Please go and visit this fabulous little Museum. It had some great kids activities when we visited, but the exhibition spaces are also great. The main gallery was well laid out, telling the history of the surrounding valleys. So much information and great artifacts. There was a wonderful trail that my daughter completed which is offered at reception, and it is all free!! In the upper gallery there was a wonderful art exhibition. There was another art exhibition in another downstairs gallery. So much packed into a comparatively small space. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Used as myeeting point by some local groups and puts on community events Very supportive of the LGBTQIA community and very good on Bi stuff which can often be lacking. They did stuff for Bi+ week this year and were the host for stuff in the past that was about Bi+ issues. Very much feels a safe place to be yourself Champions local arts and always interesting exhibitions. Nice art shop too with a variety of different styles on display...

The museum is quite small. But free entry compensates for that.
The building also boasts small art gallery which houses various displays by local artists for short periods.
There is a small cafe inside the building which serves a basic menu but is friendly to both vegan and gluten free diets.
