A hidden gem of secret Aberdeen. Our trip here on one of hottest days of the year was an absolute joy. This well kept and luxurious garden really stands alone especially in comparison with the cities other green spaces. With continual council cuts many of Aberdeens traditional gardens have been left to decay and many have really deteriorated over recent years. Fortunately with Cruickshank being run by the University this is just not the case. From the sense overloaded herb garden to the many water features, there are a wide range of flowers, plants, some familiar, many not, that will interest and provoke joy from anyone who visits. Thank you to all the staff who make this botanic garden such a joy to visit, you are enhancing people's life's. Ten outta ten

A really nice quiet peaceful place to visit for a half hour or just sit down on one of the many seats and enjoy the flowers and the trees. Some parts are a bit overgrown with weeds but all the gardeners I saw were working really hard to get the place looking nice. It's open till 7pm I think so is definitely worth a visit.

This garden is a hidden gem, it is so nice and peaceful. It is easy to walk past the entrance but if you find yourself here you will be very pleased. Entrance is free and the garden is open except at Christmas time. For me I like to take a seat and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet it is a shame so few visit this garden.

Nice, quiet, quaint, nothing too much but a welcome green oasis with well-kept plant life in the Granite City. No explanations of or background info on the plants for curious visitors, but definitely a place to enjoy.

lovely peaceful garden with some interesting plants. i like that they are leaving areas wild for nature which is far more beneficial than immaculately manicured grass. feels very under utilised and FREE.
