Reluctant to review as it's my hidden gem!. What's not to like?. There's plenty of parking, clean public toilets, cafe, fair/playground & an award winning fish & chip shop (another review, but it's called Fred's). Beach is pebbled, but as the tide goes out, swathes of sand appear. It's not crowded & lot's of space to spread out. Some lovely property/architecture near the tennis courts. Have made some beautiful memories over the years & hopefully many...

We have not swim so no sure of that experience but I am not very impressed by the pier. The fun rides were ok, not much queues on weekdays. If you got a car probably better but otherwise by train it was not very convenient. Maybe 700 bus might be a better option but have not used so not sure. There are many food restaurants , supermarket but not much else. I would not like this place unless you have a second home or...
