Read moreThe car park is made up of a good number of parking bays but I imagine on a busy day it would struggle to cope with hordes of people arriving there. The car park surface is made up of lots of stone/rubble and may not be accessible for wheelchair users. Having said that once you are on the paths the surface is much smoother. I didn't see any toilets whilst I was there but that's isn't to say there aren't any. There was a mobile drinks stall set up though I am unsure whether it was serving any kind of food. The park itself is a vast area with lots of different routes to take. It's a great place to go for a bike ride too. There are small ponds dotted around with fishermen having access to them. If you plan to go for a leisurely walk with your dog, it maybe a good idea to avoid these areas or keep your dog on a lead especially if recall is an issue.
This park is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and have some time on your hands. I will certainly return...

We didn't want to do this so almost had to go home without even leaving the car! All that for a pretty dreary, uninspiring walk. Like I said at the start, disappointing and a...
