St Nicolas Church — Attraction in Beech Hill

I couldn't believe the pictures that they have posted online! It looks beautiful! I was filled from head to toe with a thought and feeling of our ancestry, and the artistic stone work really took to me a place strength, solitude, stability and structure... Visiting the town of Newbury for the first time. Had some spare time and took a wander. Came across St Nicholas Church and thought I would take a look. Had a warm welcome and was invited to join Holy Communion service which was nice. The church building is interesting, with a lot of history behind it and some lovely stained glass windows - so it's worth a look even for them. St. Nicholas (St. Nick's) is a lovely church. The building is stunning, great strained glass windows. But what was even better than the building were the people who attend. I went to the Sunday evening 6pm contemporary worship service, and I felt really welcome like I had been there for years even though that was the first time I had ever been there.
