Northcroft Park — Attraction in Newbury

First visit to the indoor pool. Staff were all lovely and very helpful, and there were lots of poolside attendants. Changing area was extremely clean and laid out, and various sized lockers. Disappointingly, we had to wait to go into the baby pool as too many people had been allowed in. These are well appointed park areas with a children's play area, a cricket pitch and clubhouse. The Nothcroft Leisure Centre is located at one end of the park with a good range of facilities. The paths give access to the Kennet and Avon Canal leading into Newbury town centre. 30c outside temp, the outdoor pool looked amazing. 2.5m deep one end down to 1m at the shallower end. A separate outside baby pool. Plenty of room, and the water felt great. Staff was nice and friendly . Even had an outdoor ice cream/drink cart (card payments only).
