Wonderful restoration of the Original Victorian Ravine! They have brought it into the 21st century , making the whole ecosystem as efficient as possible ,yet retained as much of the original Victorian charm, character and structure as possible. I am so glad to see this as sadly without the restoration it would have decayed beyond saving and in doing so this means that future generations to come will still have this small taste of Paradise to enjoy . Well worth a visit , I chatted with one of the young member of staff named Lewis who surprised me with his knowledge of the plants and the history of the building ! He even showed me the fish tank on the lower level with the "Vegetarian Piranhas" yes there is such a thing! Visitors will now be able to learn about the conservation work and plant collection thanks to new interactive and digital exhibits.
