I played Ballycastle during an open competition day. The course was interesting with 5 lush parkland holes followed by 13 links style holes. The parkland portion had receptive greens, mature trees and some beautifully framed tee shots (2nd in particular). The links portion is vista after vista. There are some blind tee shots, several holes requiring you to hang back off the tee and others you can really get after. The short par 3 is particularly challenging. We played with 2 members who were super craic, gave us plenty of course information regarding lines and where not to miss. The course condition was impeccable. The food and service in the club house was also excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone and without doubt we will be back.

Played Ballycastle with society on a Sunday. Great course very challenging with a mix of parkland and links type holes. Plenty of options for buggies, and battery trollies at the pro shop to help tackle the inclines from the 6th on as the course works its way up the headland, would book buggy in advance if needed. Good to see a local course buzzing with people as was the Beach and town. We even had a group of tourists spotting a ball from a wayward shot as they watched from path adjacent to the 7th fairway! Played this course loads of times but different challenge eveytime especially when the wind blows. Fished with some great Guinness and ate of the society menu can recommend the cod and chips. All staff very attentive and easily chatted too. Will be back soon

Absolutely outstanding course ,Challenging lay out with memorable holes. The course is in fantastic condition, I loved the setting in the lovely seaside town of Bally Castle with very friendly Pro & staff , you can tell this is a truly welcoming golf club. I would rank this golf course as one of my favorite top five courses in Northern Ireland. I will definitely come back to play again. The course is second to none & at the same level as one of the best in Northern Ireland .tonyfrancisrees.

Well what can we say other than just gorgeous! First time since new ownership and we were so impressed, from the high end design and decor of the restaurant to amazing food. We all had a taste of all the starters and each one was delicious, for main course we had lamb, beef and chicken dishes. The roasties hands down were my favourite, crispy and fluffy the veg was plentyful and not to mention the lamb shank! A hard to please mum said it was just delicious and melted in your mouth. Well done to everyone as a party of 9 no one was disappointed. Your decor is just stunning not to mention the gorgeous setting of the golf course. Would highly recommend for a great feed and great...
