Morelli Italian Ice Cream — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

my wife and i asked to sample a flavor and he quickly let us know that we are only allowed one sample 🤷‍♂️

claimed it would “take too long”. meanwhile there wasnt anyone else in the store

okay, no big deal. we were just at the Portstewart location yesterday and was already leaning towards getting the unicorn flavor again

then, mr grumpy old man proceeds to give us cones with the smallest scoops ive ever seen

i really wish i would have taken a picture but i was just so appalled and forgot

as a cherry on top, my ice cream tasted old and freezer burnt

just awful. they are really giving Morelli a bad name. avoid...

In June 2022 we found this Ice Cream store while touring Ireland and staying in Ballycastle. We found the quality and flavor of the Ice Cream to be exceptional. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. We were offered tastes of the various flavors and we each tried a few. Everyone was very pleased with their choices.
