Queen Elizabeth II Park View Playing Fields — Attraction in Borough of Fylde

Great for kids, good little cafe/coffee shop too. Plenty of benches. Seems split into two sections. 1 for toddler sizes and 1 for older kids. Dogs not allowed in to stop muck getting in the sand. Massive playing field for team sports or a kick around with mum and dad. Parking not to bad on the street. Not sure if it has a dedicated c/P as I'm not from Lytham.UPDATE *... PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR A CLIMBING FRAME WITH A SAND MOVING DEVICE. IT CAUSED A VISIT TO HOSPITAL FOR MY GRANDSON! Fantastic play area with the biggest selection of playground furniture in the region! There's a section for little children to enjoy themselves. You then have the largest section for older children, but also dextrous younger ones could also fate fine. There's a great addition of mechanisms where you can play with sand in a variety of ways, as well as with water where you can channel it through water furrows. Brilliant play park and recreation ground with something for all ages, from a lovely play area for the youngest family members, a sand and water park, a skate park, BMX track, zip line, sport apparatus for adults, a lovely wooded walk at far side with wooden sculptures, the cafe is beautiful and reasonably priced for the area though food is limited but includes sandwiches, ice creams, biscuits, crips sweets fruit and hot and cold drinks.
